Arizona Information Officers Assocation
A group designed for Public Information Officers from Arizona government, education and nonprofit organizations. Moderated by the Arizona Information Officers Association.
Arizona School Public Relations Association
The Arizona School Public Relations Association is a professional organization that provides support to educators involved in school public relations, as well as professional development activities for school public relations specialists. It is comprised of a group of outstanding people who are committed to education and who take the responsibility of good communications seriously.
CUSEC Public Information Officers
Established in 2002, the Association of CUSEC Public Information Officers (PIO’s) work to improve public awareness and education efforts regarding the seismic hazard in the central U.S.
Through the media, exhibits, seminars and meetings, this group uses earthquake preparedness information to empower central U.S. citizens with the tools and the confidence they will need to protect their families immediately after an earthquake.
The group is comprised of the Public Information Officers from each Member State emergency management agency and public information representatives from other organizations. This group has created a working relationship which allows them to easily exchange ideas and share public information plans.
The association meets as needed to complete objectives for existing projects and set goals for future ones. The group also works closely with the CUSEC Member State Earthquake Program Managers to pIan earthquake preparedness activities.

City-County Communications & Marketing Association
The City-County Communications & Marketing Association is the nation's premiere network of local government communicators. Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado
The Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado is comprised of over 160 members representing agencies across the state, from law enforcement and fire to healthcare, city government and higher education. Our organization serves to promote the profession of the public information officer, provide support to members and foster relations between PIOs, the public and media.
Florida Association of Public Information Officers - Florida Fire Chiefs' Association
This section provides training for all public information officers through the development and coordination of a wide range of training opportunities and an informative newsletter. The section is governed by a section council. If you are currently a PIO or are interested in entering the field and are on the staff of a public sector agency, be it police, fire, health department, hospital, the Red Cross or other public service agency, we encourage you to join FAPIO today!
Florida Court Public Information Officers
FCPIO is a federally recognized tax-exempt educational nonprofit corporation organized in 2007 to promote discussion among Florida's court public information officers (PIOs).. All Florida state court divisions were directed to appoint PIOs by then Chief Justice Charles T. Wells following a 2002 report on emergency preparedness issued by an advisory committee created after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. FCPIO meets regularly to discuss emerging developments in court and media relations with a special focus on Florida's uniquely broad public records and public meetings laws and court rules, and its continuous history of allowing broadcast coverage of court proceedings starting in 1979.
Florida Law Enforcement Public Information Officers
The Florida Law Enforcement Public Information Officers Association (FLEPIOA) is a statewide organization that includes representatives from all branches of local, state and federal law enforcement /public safety.
The purpose of the Florida Law Enforcement Officers Public Information Officers Association is to give law enforcement and public safety PIOs the training opportunities to enhance their knowledge of Florida law and PIO best practices.
FLEPIOA membership also provides the resources of experience and expertise for PIOs to maintain a credible and professional relationship with the media organizations with whom they work.
Government Social Media
We promote best practice standards for government social media to support professional development in this field. We assist in facilitating discussion with social networks and communicate new platform features and products to member agencies.
IACLEA's Public Information Officers Section
Members of IACLEA's Public Information Officers Section will receive training and enjoy networking, sharing best practices, tips, and more through a community in IACLEA CONNECTIONS. Kansas Association of Public Information Officers
The Kansas Association of Public Information Officers (KAPIO) is a statewide association of government and quasi-government public information officers and communication professionals. KAPIO has more than 100 members across the state and gaining new members every year.

National Association of County Information Officers
NACIO works to promote the value of professional PIOs and communicators to county governments. NACIO members serve as judges for NACo's annual National County Government Month contest, and NACIO experts present highly entertaining workshops on media relations best practices at the NACo Annual and Legislative conferences.

The principal purpose of NAGC is to advance communication as an essential professional resource at every level of local, state, tribal and national government.
National Information Officers Association
The NIOA promotes professionalism and encourages stronger media relations by providing educational information, training opportunities and regional support for the information officer. NIOA members are spokespersons from local, state and federal government, representing law enforcement, fire, medical, emergency management, transportation, public works and other public safety and emergency services agencies.
National School Public Relations Association
Since 1935, the National School Public Relations Association has been providing school communication training and services to school leaders throughout the United States, Canada, and the U.S. Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools worldwide.
