In this position, you will serve as a Public Affairs Specialist. Typical assignments include: Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with members of the media, other training organizations, senior staff and management, the public, and other specialized groups on programs and activities. Supporting an active community relations program by coordinating exhibits and speakers’ program, coordinating audio-visual presentations with senior management staff, and coordinating participation in special community events. Preparing articles for professional technical journals, websites, and other media promoting training programs. Presenting briefings and speeches promoting training, programs, and activities at national, state, local, and international gatherings on matters of mutual interest.
