Under the supervision of the Deputy Director of Marketing & Public Affairs (CEA), the incumbent performs the more complex professional and technical tasks associated with a comprehensive program to develop and market traffic safety initiatives that educate the public and local agency partners on traffic safety issues. This includes developing media, general education, and communications campaigns; providing proactive and reactive responses to media; and supporting internal and external communications.
