General Description of Duties: The administrative media specialist will engage in a variety of secretarial and administrative tasks to support the community affairs office. This includes answering community affairs office phone, ordering office supplies and event giveaways, assisting with public records and media requests, managing and scheduling appointments for special events, news conferences, etc., assisting with obtaining vendor quotes for special events or projects, assisting with managing social media accounts (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, etc.), sorting and distributing incoming mail, inputting requisitions for invoices, processing travel vouchers, composing correspondence and assisting with other related document and budget preparation. Performs other work assignments as directed.
